Overview
Designed as the most comprehensive version of the Rotor Fold Set range, the Rotor Fold Set – Premium combines the complete articulated rotor system and detailed 28-piece main rotor head assembly of the Advanced set with additional components developed specifically for the 1:48 Italeri Westland Wessex family.
The set extends the detail beyond the rotor head itself, reproducing the visible areas of the gearbox and swashplate control linkages that can be seen beneath the rotor assembly. These components provide convincing mechanical depth where it matters visually, without adding unnecessary hidden detail.
At the tail, the set includes a detailed tail rotor gearbox fairing with fine grille and surface detail, together with a one-piece printed tail rotor assembly and specially printed tail rotor blades designed to resist warping and deformation.
The Premium set also includes additional grille details for the tail section, together with roof cooling grille options covering the Mk.3 and Mk.2 / Mk.5 configurations.
Together, these additions create a complete rotor and external mechanical detail package for the Italeri Wessex, combining accurate geometry, articulated positioning and highly visible surface detail in one integrated upgrade.
